SMFA Highlights
Professor of the Practice Mags Harries is exhibiting five sculptures as part of the exhibition Undercurrents, on view at Concord Arts through August 16 which focuses on water and human impact. An artists reception will be held on June 16 and an artists panel will be held on June 29.
Professor of the Practice Laurel Nakadate launched MOTHER a group show at George Mason University, which runs through May 29. The show features the work of twenty-two contemporary artists exploring the subjects of mothers and motherhood and was co-curated along with Don Russell and Lily Siegel.
Professor of the Practice Laurel Nakadate launched Thesis Shows 2022, a listing website for BA, BFA, and MFA thesis shows across the United States and Canada. The project was made as a collaboration between SMFA at Tufts and Yale College students.
