Khaldoun Hijazin, MFA '14, has been named Artistic Director of the National Gallery of Fine Arts in Amman, Jordan. 

Gerri Rachins is having a solo exhibition of new works on paper from her ongoing series In-Between at The Painting Center in Chelsea, NY, from October 27 to November 21, 2020 with an opening reception from 5 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, October 29.

Sarah “Val” Valente, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, moderated a panel discussion on Artistic Narratives and Social Engagement with Karen Hampton, MassArt faculty, Jhona Xaviera, SMFA alum, Naledi Masilo, NEC student, and Ameya Okamoto, SMFA student. Panelists addressed how their journeys, heritage, and our current moment amidst a pandemic and the growing Black Lives Matter movement impact their creative practices particularly as artists of color.
