Professor of the Practice Kendall Reiss was awarded a Tufts Springboard grant, sponsored by the Office of the Provost, the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, and Tufts Medicine for her project Research BIPOC History.

Professor of the Practice Bonnie Donohue and Alpha Massaquoit, MFA '24 will be having exhibitions at Kingston Gallery for the month of February 2024.

Professor of the Practice Riccardo Giacconi's latest film, Giganti Rosse, was awarded Best Italian Documentary at the Torino Film Festival.

Professor of the Practice Chantal Zakari's book, Pictures from the Outside, was reviewed by Claire Ogden in the Boston Art Review.

Professor of the Practice Ethan Murrow currently has a solo show up in Paris at Galerie Les at Filles du Calvaire and is part of a group show at Print Center New York as part of the publisher spotlight series featuring D+S Editions, showing lithographs created by the shop from Paris, LaForce, NY in collaboration with artists Dread Scott and Jenny Polak, Dasha Shishkin, Pierre Monestier and Kate McCrickard.

MFA '22 Juyon Lee will showcase her new image-based works in liquid lines, a two-person exhibition for the Alice C. Cole '42 Studio Project Grantees at Jewett Arts Center in Wellesley College, MA.

Tufts Universities Art Galleries Curator and the Director of the Collective Futures Fund Laurel V. McLaughlin is organizing an independent symposium, Magical Thinking, with artist manuel arturo abreu on Saturday, November 11 from 9:00–6:00 PM, featuring the work of manuel arturo abreu, DB Amorin, fields harrington, sidony o’neal, Jonathan González, Africanus Okokon, Emilio Rojas, Tavia Nyong’o, Joshua Chambers-Letson, Rebecca Schneider, M. NourbeSe Philip, and S*an D. Henry Smith.
