Hyperion Çaca Yvaire MFA '22 and Professor of the Practice Patte Loper are participating in the second version of MFA '22 Jeff Yeh's presentation and panel discussion series, Rustling Room, as part of his larger project, Interstitial Lives. In the second session, Multivalent Web Weaving and Other Worlds Syllabus, Patte Loper and Hyperion Çaca Yvaire will present each of their artistic and life practices, revolving around the search of efficient and aesthetic ways to convey complex ecological knowledges and to advocate for conditions that lead to multispecies thriving.
MFA '22 Jeff Yeh is opening a two-week-long exhibition and project in Boston's Chinatown called Interstitial Lives. Interstitial Lives, October 14 - October 23, is a community-oriented project that attempts to cultivate cross-species kinship between residents in the Boston Chinatown neighborhood, passersby, and their ruderal plant neighbors.
Professor of the Practice Patte Loper is part of Liveable Worlds at The Institute of Contemporary Art at Maine College of Art & Design (ICA at MECA&D). The exhibition, which turns attention to practices of world-building amid conditions of environmental and social duress, is on view from October 6 – December 15, 2023.

Professor of the Practice Criatobal Cea opened his first solo exhibition, No Monsters No Paradise, at the Mills Gallery of the Boston Center for the Arts, on Friday, September 29. The exhibition, consisting of 3D animations, paintings, and sculptures, is based on Cea's research on monstrosity within the context and history of the Americas and will be on view until December 9. The show was reviewed in The Boston Globe.
