Print courses offer in-depth instruction of traditional printmaking techniques—relief, intaglio, lithography, and screen-printing—as well as a variety of mixed-media approaches. Processes are taught as a means of visual expression and exploration. Edition and production skills are addressed by means of various print exchange portfolios throughout the year.

The Print Shop is a fully operational printmaking studio for teaching lithography, intaglio and etching, relief, mono printing, and other alternative printmaking processes. Students enrolled in a printmaking course will receive a shared locker and flat file for the semester, as well as access to all inks. Relief and Intaglio facilities include three etching presses and an aquatinting spray booth, and the adjoining Lithography area houses a large selection of lithography stones and three lithography presses.
