Allie Rose Bartlett is a Canadian transfer student from Nova Scotia. Bartlett originally went to university to study psychology, but dropped out after sustaining a head injury in her third year. After recuperating, she began taking courses at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and later transferred to the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, where she is now a student in the Senior Thesis Program. She is interested in the representation of memory and expresses this through her drawings and oil paintings.

Her work has been shown at Argyle Fine Art, Plan B, No Offence* Gallery, NSCAD's Port Loggia Gallery and the Anna Leonowens Gallery in Canada. In Boston, her work has been selected for the Drawing Annual, the Painting Biennial and the Print and Paper Area Show at the SMFA.

Artists I am looking at include Gerhard Richter, Cindy Sherman, Daniel Segrove and Hope Gangloff.
