Biography

Glenna Lang (graphic design/illustration) has worked as a freelance illustrator for many years. Her illustrations appeared regularly in the Atlantic Monthly, the Boston Globe, and many other publications. She has produced five children's books published by David R. Godine in addition to the award-winning Looking Out for Sarah with Charlesbridge Publishing. Her most recent book, Genius of Common Sense, was acclaimed as a Notable Book by both the New York Times and Smithsonian. She holds a BA from the University of Chicago ('72) and an MFA from the Museum School/Tufts University ('75). Lang has taught at the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, Framingham State College, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and Tufts University.
