Continuing Education

Continuing Education classes and workshops at SMFA are designed for adults at the beginning, middle or advanced stages of their artistic exploration. Fall and spring semester classes are available to adults of all ages and career stages, from college freshmen to seasoned and experienced artists. Summer classes are open to high school students who are 15 years of age or older, as well as adults. We encourage the diversity of artistic and professional experiences of the students in our programs.

Also on offer are the City Studio Program and the Pre-College Summer Intensive program, designed especially for high school students. Please see the section below, entitled High School Programs for more information.
