Continuing Education Certificates
SMFA certificate programs can lead you toward a new career or help you build your portfolio.
Certificate programs in Graphic Design and Illustration provide credentials that represent proficiency and skill, leading toward a career in either graphic design or illustration. The Studio Diploma program is 100% studio-based and offers a rare opportunity to combine a traditional approach to art with 21st century skills in technology, communication, and global awareness.
The certificate program in Graphic Design provides you with the practical and theoretical skills of a design professional.
The Pre-College Summer Intensive in Studio Art develops young artists’ foundational skills and exposes them to new technologies and conceptual frameworks for approaching art with a focus on portfolio development.
