Pastel Drawing Studio (Workshop)

This 2-day workshop in pastel will help students get started in the use of NuPastel only (not oil or chalk pastel). Considered drawing by some and painting by others, using pastel presents a number of technical problems that will be addressed during the workshop. Topics will include an introduction to color theory along with techniques such as working dark to light and blending versus hatching. The class will work from still life set-ups; wherein, each student can discover their own unique, artistic voice in a supportive and creative atmosphere.
