Elisa Kennedy

Elisa joined the SMFA Tufts team in 2022 as the Administrative and Development Coordinator. She is a graduate of Connecticut College where she holds a B.A in Dance and American Studies, with a concentration in Expressive Arts and Culture.  While at Conn, she completed an integrative academic pathway, Bodies/Embodiment, where she critically examined the relationships between the portrayal of bodies on the dance/theater stage and American politics and history. She comes to the SMFA with a background in arts administration roles with performance companies/spaces such as David Dorfman Dance and 3S Artspace, as well as many years of retail experience (resulting in a somewhat unhealthy knowledge of most shoe brands). 
 
Elisa is a Newburyport, Massachusetts native but currently resides in Medford. Outside of work, you can probably find her in a dance studio, exploring local shows and arts events, or on a beach.
