Kaitlyn Ovett Clark
In 2008, Kaitlyn received her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University-Bloomington, where she double-majored in Studio Arts and Art History and minored in Spanish. She then obtained a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Ceramics from Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis in 2011. In 2015, Kaitlyn earned a Master of Fine Arts graduate degree at Tufts University in conjuncture with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Her work uses mixed-media in sculptural installations, and includes elements of video and sound. She explores themes of biblical morality, social hierarchy, human desire, business ethics, consumption, and addiction. These themes originated and were explored from her experience working in a casino.
