Biography

Kata is an award winning, practicing artist working in oils and mixed media. She teaches at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, and has facilitated drawing and collage workshops and retreats for individuals and organizations, teacher trainings, and corporate leadership team building. Her work has been shown in juried exhibitions at local galleries, art associations, the Danforth Art Museum, and other venues in the region, including the Massachusetts State House and the Boston Athenaeum. Kata's work hangs in corporate and private collections nationwide and abroad. She works out of her studio at 11 Miler Street in Somerville, MA, and lives north of Boston with her husband. Her two sons have flown the coop.
