Nandi Bynoe is the Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion with primary responsibility for the undergraduate students in the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Engineering and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and leads the Division of Student Diversity and Inclusion.
The Division of Student Diversity and Inclusion includes six centers: Africana Center, Asian American Center, FIRST Resource Center, Latino Center, LGBT Center, and Women’s Center. Both individually and collectively, the centers seek to promote understanding, community, and belonging across the Tufts communities in concert with the wider division.
Dean Bynoe works on issues of diversity, inclusion, and equity across a student’s Tufts experience, from matriculation to graduation. Dean Bynoe is also a part of the University Cabinet for Diversity and Inclusion, chaired jointly by Associate Provost and Chief Diversity Officers Rob Mack and Joyce Sackey.
