Biography

Samantha Fields is a multi media artist, whose work includes sculpture, installation and textiles.

She holds a BFA from MassArt and an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. She currently teaches at SMFA at Tufts, Chester College, Massachusetts College of Art, and Gordon College.

Her exhibitions include: Mills Gallery, Boston, MA; deCordova Museum, Lincoln, MA; Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA; New Art Center, Newton, MA; G.A.S.P., Brookline, MA: Artist Foundation, Boston, MA; South Shore Art Center, Cohasset, MA; Emanuel College, Boston, MA; Tufts University, Medford, MA; The Contemporary Artist Center, North Adams, MA; Cambridge Art Association, Cambridge, MA; Fort Point Arts Community Gallery, Boston, MA.

Samantha recently received The Artist's Resource Trust Grant. Her work has been reviewed by The Boston Globe, Art New England, The Boston Phoenix, BBN TV-9, The New York Times, and Big Red and Shiny.
