Monika Pobiarzyn

Biography

Monika Pobiarzyn was born in Poland and raised in New Jersey. Her craft-based practice creates metaphors worked by hand. She is interested in having tactile conversations with handmade paper, textiles, and clay to contemplate the labor of craft as a virtuous act and its intersection with domestic spaces and embodied memory. She currently lives and works in Boston, Massachusetts.
