Laura Blacklow gave a talk, "Contemporary Artists Using Historical Photo Processes," at the Photographic Resource Center on the evening of Thursday, September 20, 2018. The presentation, which featured painters, performance artists, and photographers, was followed by a book signing for the 5th edition of her book New Dimensions in Photo Processes: A Step-by-Step Manual for Alternative Techniques.
The Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, New Hampshire, commissioned Ethan Murrow to make a 100 foot+ wall drawing, two large-scale works on paper, and a 52-foot-long scroll drawing animated by a kinetic sculpture. The exhibition opened on September 15, 2018.
