Biography

Ghazaleh Seidabadi (G) is a multi-disciplinary artist working across video, image, text, textile, and artist books. Their practice centers on the body as a primary site of perception, exploring how experiences of migration, memory, suppression, and autonomy become physically lived. Drawing from personal and collective narratives, Seidabadi’s work examines the embodied dimensions of power and the subtle ways in which social and political forces imprint themselves on everyday gestures. Originally from Tehran and currently based in Boston, Seidabadi is an MFA candidate in Studio Art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University.
