Graduate Programs
Graduate education for those who are ready to go deeper.
The SMFA graduate experience gives artists the skills they need to execute their ideas, the freedom to explore, and a creative community to support them along the way. As a graduate student, you'll develop advanced interdisciplinary competencies and techniques in the visual arts that will help you create meaningful and provocative work.
Through intensive studio practice, engagement with the liberal arts and sciences, and collaboration with peers and faculty, you'll develop a body of work that blends theory and technique with your artistic vision. And you'll do it while developing the networks and skills you need to navigate a creative career.
