Ching Sheng Lai

The relationship between Taiwan and China is very intense these days. China's invasion and oppression of Taiwan has become increasingly fierce. I regard this as twenty-first-century imperialism. I work in oil on glass, using eleven metallic-luster processed glasses, of various sizes, arranged in a specific pattern that expresses the political imbroglio between Taiwan and China. The paintings on glass are demonstrated in a satirical and subtle way.
