At SMFA we remove the barriers so you can explore your artistic practice to the fullest.

As a student at SMFA, you will have access to all studio resources in order to explore your practice. Whether you’re new to a lab or have years of experience, you’ll find the right support through classes, workshops, or one-on-one assistance from our Studio Managers. If a ceramics project suddenly demands a welded steel frame to support it, you can ask for a hand without waiting until the next semester to register for a course.
